Abstract :
A simplified scenario is given to illustrate the basic steps a designer takes in selecting a flat-panel display. The attributes of flat-panel displays are then examined and compared to those of cathode-ray-tube (CRT) displays. Criteria for using one or the other are given. Cost factors are considered.<>
