Abstract :
It´s false to assume that a plethora of unmediated blogs can and should substitute for actual investigation and thought, followed by editing and then reporting. Print publications´ great strength is that they´re refereed or otherwise evaluated before being released. And, while the role of print in civilization is radically changing, its unique properties and functions guarantee it a healthy future.
