Abstract
Vinnakota and Rao´s RNS-to-binary converter proposed recently (see ibid., vol. CAS-41, p. 927-9, 1994) for the moduli set {2n-1, 2n and 2n+1} is shown to be a simple modification of the well-known Mixed Radix Conversion technique. Their converter is also compared to other recently described RNS to binary converters regarding area and speed performance
