Abstract :
The Fourier integrals used in a recent simulation of a shielded, two-dimensional (2-D) magnetoresistive read head are evaluated in terms of infinite series that converge at least as fast as k-3. These expressions should be faster and easier to compute numerically than the numerical integration of the original integrals
