  • Abstract
This paper examines the sources of numerical errors in the reduced scalar potential solution of electromagnetic field problems. A number of ways by which some of these errors may be eliminated are put forward and numerical results for the 3D geometry of an iron core inductor are compared and explanations have been attempted
