Abstract :
Chipless Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems were proposed to reduce the costs of RFID systems by using tags without a chip. The absence of a chip imposes the necessity of developing new techniques for information recovery from the reflected signal. In this paper we consider the application of the Fractional Fourier Transform - FrFT for the recovery of information in from collided signals. We show the feasibility of the method and the evaluation its performance when the number of collided tags increase. The results shows the robustness of the proposed method, even for a collision of a large number of tags.
