The way ahead

It is with great pleasure that I write this column as the newly appointed chair of the IEEE Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) Student Activities Committee (SAC). Words of thanks go to my predecessor, Babak Beheshti, who was the chair during the past two years. I had the privilege to be his vice chair in 2009, when the SAC began to develop a student strategy in line with MGA´s strategic plan, which was mentioned in Babak´s last column.
