  • Abstract
    Insulating tester is an important equipment in high voltage test of electrical engineering. The research on possible effects of the insulating oil´s temperature on the insulating properties of test materials has become a critical subject in insulation testing. In this paper, we design a system which includes a heating oil cup, mixer, heating power output control platform and incremental PID algorithm to control insulating oil´s temperature, allowing the insulating oil to be heated symmetrically and overcoming the negative effects of heat capacity coefficient, insulating oil viscosity and the feature of heat conduction coefficient. The main aim of this design is to keep the fluctuation of the insulating oil´s temperature in minimum during high voltage test.
