On radiation properties of the alford loop and a dipole antenna
Abstract :
Using a high-speed digital computer and considering exact expressions, radiation properties of the Alford loop and dipole antenna of identical sizes are computed and compared. It is shown that there is considerable strength in vertically-polarised field of the loop antenna in addition to the usual strong horizontally-polarized component.
