Abstract
This paper presents a new approach for the active RC synthesis of second-degree voltage transfer function showing resonance. Details of sensitivity analysis have been shown. A method of reducing Q-factor sensitivity due to the variation of the active element has been reported. Q-factor sensitivity compensation due to the temperature variation has also been shown. Finally a resonator with Q-factor = 100 has been designed. The resonator is tunable at all frequencies without affecting the pole Q-factor. It gives a wide range of Q-factor, from low values to several hundred.
