Abstract
The small capacitance superconducting two-junction structure shunted as a whole by a small-size resistor has been theoretically studied. When the bias current slightly exceeds the critical current of the system, the nonzero average voltage on the resistor and its response to small variations of the polarization charge Q0 on the common electrode appear. The sensitivity of such an electrometer has been optimized
