  • Abstract
    Demonstrated is a fan-out device using small diameter fibres for 7-core singlemode multicore fibre, which realises a compact size with ferrules and a split sleeve, and also achieves physical contact connection with an average connection loss of 0.17 dB and a return loss exceeding 49 dB.
