Abstract :
A method for estimating the terrain height of interferometric synthetic aperture radar InSAR is proposed. Errors in height estimation due to the curvature of the Earth´s surface are analysed and simulated. By using L-band SIR-C data for the `Three-Gorge´ area in China, the terrain height is obtained by employing the method. A method for estimating the parameters of the baseline is also presented. Simulations show that, under certain conditions, good results can be obtained
