Abstract
This paper demonstrates an analog front end High Voltage (HV) transmitter Integrated Circuit for ultrasound medical imaging application. This consists of output driver and level shifter to produce the required voltage pulse. The proposed HV transmitter is designed in a way to achieve high integration by using CMOS transistor that can drive the Capacitive Micro machined Ultrasound Transducer (CMUT) without breakdown reliability problem. The HV transmitter can generate voltage over 30Vp-p from the input of 1.8Vp-p at a frequency of 5MHz with minimum delay and also it occupies less area.
