Abstract :
The need for large colour displays is outlined and various methods of projection reviewed. Detailed requirements are discussed including choice of c.r.t., optical system, correction for various forms of distortion, scanning and video drive arrangements. Methods of operating are mentioned and the mechanical construction and circuit diagrams described. The paper concludes with a summary of performance and applications.
