Abstract
This paper gives a general review of the various computational techniques employing conventional analogue, precision analogue and digital methods, and indicates the approach to the ideal hybrid techniques. It illustrates the present and future trends in training simulators, involving the use of precision analogue computers, fully integrated with digital control logic and high-speed arithmetic to form a true hybrid simulator.
