  • Abstract
    TWDM PON with WDM overlay is demonstrated for converged services, where 40Gb/s TWDM PON provides shared capacity for residential broadband and WDM overlay supports 1.25Gb/s dedicated bandwidth for business customers. Pluggable optical transceivers for TWDM PON are developed for future large scale deployment, and self-seeded RSOAs are used in colorless ONUs for WDM overlay.
