Abstract :
A method for the design of analog pulse-shaping filters is extended for the design of digital IIR (infinite-impulse response) pulse-shaping filters. In the method of K. Huber (1987), the Lagrange multiplier is used to solve the analog pulse-shaping-filter design problem. The author uses the same technique to solve the digital IIR pulse-shaping-filter design problem
