Abstract :
The National Academy of Sciences—National Research Council will again assist the National Science Foundation (NSF) with its eighth regular predoctoral and postdoctoral fellowship programs which have recently been announced by the NSF. The NSF plans to award approximately 1,000 graduate and 200 postdoctoral fellowships in these two programs for scientific study duringthe 1959–60 academic year.
