Abstract
Inband white noise causes the breakdown of frequency-modulated (FM) reception when the signal to noise ratio drops below the threshold level. Using a novel circuit technique based on a new mathematical relationship, ´click´ noise can be reduced by up to 10 dB and white noise (across the baseband spectrum) can be reduced by approximately 6 dB.
