Abstract
This paper deals with proposal and construction of simple and reliable distrometer, which measures a drop size distribution of raindrops. Concept of the proposed device is measurement of droplet fall velocity between two optical barriers. Diameter is then computed using the Gunn-Kinzer model. Examples of measured drops as well as laboratory construction are shown.
