Abstract :
In this paper, a new interpolation formula is proposed to represent real WP curves. The generated curve bears the curvature resemblance to real WP curves, overcoming one of the intrinsic drawbacks of conventional linear, quadratic, and cubic formulas. Moreover, the parameters of this formula can be determined by a system of linear equations, expediting the construction procedure. Furthermore, this formula has a simple structure, adapting the transform procedure of the probability distribution function of stochastic wind speed.
