Abstract :
The management of engineers and scientists has become a topic of growing concern and interest in most technologybased organizations, especially in light of today´s highly competitive international arena. Within the Engineers and Scientists Department, we are looking for original manuscripts that will advance our understanding of the many wide-ranging issues and problems associated with the management of engineers and scientists. Such advancement could come from careful empirical investigations, from clear theoretical conceptualizations, from novel syntheses of existing studies, or from well-argued case studies. Manuscripts should seek to extend our knowledge and perspective in certain areas rather than trying to replicate what has been done or learned before. Authors submitting their work should articulate what is already known and should try to ground their study within existing streams of research theories and empirical findings. It is through the submission of interesting work that both builds on past results and stimulates future developments that we hope to establish a more coherent, cumulative body of knowledge.
