Abstract :
The authors show that merged current switch logic is an excellent candidate for enabling low supply voltages and maintaining an operating speed in the GHz range. The demonstration circuit fabricated in a 0.8 μm BiCMOS process operates at supply voltages as low as 1.2 V with a bit rate of 1 Gbit/s. The dynamic power consumption is 461 μW/gate
