Abstract :
Whether scheduled as a result of a campus interview or other job-seeking efforts, the on-site interview is a major step toward acquiring a professional job. No hiring company will schedule an on-site interview with you unless it is seriously interested in your qualifications. In turn, it is a waste of your time as well as a discourtesy to a prospective employer to accept an interview unless you are seriously interested in the company. A general understanding of the normal process and procedures of on-site visits will help you as a newly graduated engineer to be more comfortable, alert, and effective in exchanging information. More than ever before, company representatives today are making every effort they can to identify and select only the best people they can find. Their own jobs often depend on their selections.
