More articles from the Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC) are downloaded every month through IEEE Xplore® than from any other publication in the IEEE collection. In official patent records, the JSSC is the most-cited publication for electro-technology patents (www.ieee.org/patentcitation). What are the characteristics of SSCS members that make them such avid readers of the Society´s Journal? As SSCS Past-President Charles Sodini describes it, “We are relevant to industry. The academics that publish in the Journal are also very interested in industry. It is the combination of industry and academics that is so great.”
