Abstract
A new voltage-controlled grounded resistor in which a MOS transistor, operating in the triode region, is linearised by connecting a second MOS transistor, which is operated in the saturation region, in parallel is presented. The simulation results show a linearity of as low as 0.6% for an input voltage up to 4 V. The implementation of nth order highpass ladder filters using the proposed resistor is presented.
