Abstract
The goal of continuing education is not only to maintain and increase skills; vitality is the broader goal. Vitality is the foundation for career success; it is the intellectual vigor, the creativity, and the diligence with which professional tasks are initiated, pursued, and completed. Remaining vital is a strong contributor to increased job satisfaction and to greater job security.
