Abstract
A general procedure for the analysis of concatenations of straight and curved waveguide sections based on the method of lines is described. Field and impedance transfer equations for curved waveguides are derived, which can easily be transformed to the case of straight waveguides. A special impedance/admittance transformation formula is reported for waveguide connections, even with steps. Numerical results for some examples are given and compared with results in the literature
