Abstract :
This paper presents the architecture of an acquisition platform designed for an impulse ultra wideband see through-the-wall Radar in the 3-6 GHz band. The platform is based on a fast analog to digital converter, a high bandwidth track and holds component and FPGA based electronics. On the basis of an acquisition at 1.25 GHz, an equivalent-time sampling frequency of 100 GHz is achieved with a refresh time of 2 ms.
