Abstract
This paper presents the approach for modeling RFID tags measurement data of Received Signal Strength (RSS) and Read Rate (RR) types. For the modeling we take into account probabilities of successful response of an RFID-tag to an antenna, add normally distributed error into the modeled RSS value, and form an RR value taking into account the effect of correlation between RSS and RR values. As modeling input data we used experimental data obtained in an indoor facility during localization of 144 passive RFID tags by an RFID system composed of 16 antennas.
