Abstract :
Summary form only given. This paper is a contribution to the open boundary axisymmetric electromagnetic field problem. In this case, the static magnetic field is evaluated due to the current flowing inside a main coil in the presence of a finite length cylindrical ferromagnetic core located on the coil axis. The problem is in accordance to the TEAM problem "the jumping ring" where the coil is positioned in the middle of the core. It is an open boundary field problem.
