Abstract :
Summary form only given. Field induced Barkhausen noise (HBN) measurement and prediction is an important tool for nondestructive testing. In the presented model the HBN voltage is considered to be proportional to the number of magnetization reversal events and to the velocity of these reversals. Recently, the energetic model (EM) parameters have been correlated to microscopical variables, revealing the field dependence of the magnetization reversal velocity.
