Abstract
As the development of high-speed networking and personal computer, the people can construct cost effective clusters of PCs which provide comparable performance to super-computers at a fraction of the cost to process massive job requests and data. Accordingly, how to manage so many job requests becomes a crucial and tough problem. In order to achieve this goal, developing a job management system which is responsible for management of user´s jobs on computer cluster becomes more and more necessary. This paper presents information regarding the design and implementation of job management system. And it describes job management system architecture, components, functionalities and implementation. After that an example of rendering will be put into operation on this system to investigate three metrics, which are completion time, average turn-around time and average response time respectively. Finally it summarizes the characteristics of JMS and figures out the emphasis of future work.
