Abstract
The modeling of high-consistency stock refining process is studied. A dynamic mathematical model of specific energy and specific load is presented, based on specific edge load (SEL) theory. Also a refined stock quality predictive model based on specific energy and specific load is presented. Practical application results show the models have good precision, and reflect the fluctuations in refined stock quality. The models can be acted as theoretical bases for the automatic control of high-consistency stock refining process.
