Abstract :
Harmonic reduction in three phase multilevel inverter is an imperative factor to obtain the quality of output voltage and current. This paper proposes the switching strategy of space vector pulse width modulation uniquely to minimize THD. To reduce the total harmonic distortion and study the harmonic analysis of five-level inverter in diode clamped inverter, flying capacitor inverter and cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverters are simulated in MATLAB.
