Abstract :
A novel time slot allocation algorithm called fast permutation based time slot allocation is proposed for WCDMA TDD systems. The proposed algorithm allocates time slots by exploiting the relationship between interference, available codes and fragmentation. Only a few permutations of time slots are examined to determine time slot allocation. Performance and complexity of the proposed algorithm are compared to the optimal algorithm and random algorithm.
