Abstract
Summary form only given. In a previous paper Henriques, L. et al (see IEEE Trans. on Magnetics, Vol.36, no.5/Part 1, p.3592-4, 2000), we proposed a new torque ripple compensator for SR motors. A compensating signal is added to the PI output to modulate the phase current wave shaping. In this paper, we report the results of our experimental evaluation of the proposed scheme.
