Abstract :
This paper focuses on corporate influences on writers´ revision choices: Do writers internalize knowledge about corporate expectations and tacitly use that knowledge in making revision choices? The researcher, using ethnographic techniques, collected writing samples from two writers and conducted discourse-based interviews with them. Analyses of the writers´ samples and interviews established that the writers´ decisions partly relied on their tacit organizational knowledge
