On ecological research of overwintering birds in Jilin City

Our study has started till now since 2007. We have been tracking and investigating the overwintering birds in Jilin City all the time. Meanwhile combining with the historical survey data, we have found that the overwintering birds in Jilin area are mainly resident birds and winter migratory birds which consist in 9 orders, 28 families and 96 species or sub-species. The interrelationship among the overwintering birds is decided by food. They can be thus divided into mixed groups, single groups and single individuals. Due to geological factors, the diet for the overwintering birds in Jilin City is mostly phytophage. And in jilin city, birds habitat including: Marsh Birds, Forest Birds, Scrub Birds, Wilderness Birds.
