Abstract :
Green quantity is the main index of urban afforestation. It makes significance in the ecological function and effectiveness evaluation of urban green space to estimate the single plant´s green quantity in certain area in a fast and accurate way. In this paper, the DBH, canopy range and height, leaf area and leaf area index (LAI)of 10 kinds of deciduous broadleaved arbors in Changchun such as Salix babylonica L.et.al. are measured pratically. The regression models for leaf area green quantity of different species were set up base on correlation analysis of all indexes with SPSS13.0. It indicate that: (1)Leaf area green quantity of individual plant is significant positive correlation with its DBH, canopy width, tree height and canopy height in-species; (2)There are difference among best regression model types of most correlation parameters fitting vary with the green quantity of different species. By measuring 10 kinds of deciduous arbor and setting up 12 power function models and a quadratic regression model it is found that the regression model fitting degree of their individual plant green quantity and DBH are all significance;(3)In a certain range, LAI of different species varies sharply and there being significant positive correlation between canopy height and range at same time it is influenced by some factors such as leaf density and tree age. Therefore regression models of LAI for Betula platyphylla Suk., Populus canadensis Moench, Prunus davadiana Franch. are set up. Additionally, DBH can be used to evaluate the individual tree leaf area green quantity quickly as it can be determined rapidly and most accurately.
