Abstract :
This Letter studies how to precisely and instantly transform the object images displaying colours on an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) in order to meet both energy saving and personal viewing quality requirements. The proposed method could be applied to a real-time energy saving transformation of any display media on an OLED and it will save display power consumption up to 74% based on the predicted PSNR = 40 dB. At the same time, it still retains a very good image quality after transformation.
