Abstract :
To meet the needs of high-accuracy seismic sampling, a kind of 32-bit high performance digital geophone was designed. The digital geophone was designed with the high performance, low power microcontroller MSP430F1232 as the acquisition controller and the 32-bit high-resolution analog-to-digital converter-ADS1282 as a central part. The digital geophone was able to achieve such functions: one channel seismic vibrations gathering, data converting, data memorizing and data transmitting. By using the internal function of ADS1282 and adopting anti-jamming manner, not only the circuit was simplified, but also the acquisition quality and system stability was assured. The features of ADS1282 are introduced in the paper. The hardware composing, the interface of the digital geophone with MSP430 and the sampling control flow chart are also introduced. The digital geophone is suitable for the application that has strict demands on power, size and precision.
