Abstract
A conventional wire communication system communicates between powered terminals via a main unit. In this system, the main unit communicates with the powered terminals by changing the voltage signal between positive and negative. The powered terminal communicates with the main unit using the reply current signal. Because this system is used for on-off control, the communication speed is slow. Therefore, we considered an add-on type multiplex module that could perform communications at speeds higher than existing systems. Existing systems have terminals of low impedance. Even if the low impedance terminals are connected with the system, the multiplex module should be able to communicate with it. In this paper, we propose a new signal multiplex technique that can communicate even with existing terminals of low impedance and describe the basic characteristics of this technique.
