Abstract
We examine the enhancement effects of switching from silver (Ag) nanoparticles (NPs)to nonresonant aluminium (Al) NPs on light absorption in a-Si solar cells. Al nanocubes on ITO spacer increase absorbed power by 24.3% over a cell with Ag nanocubes and 19.4% over a bare cell.
