Abstract :
As the baton of urban traffic, traffic light plays the most important role on the traffic impact. Now traffic light has been able to better schedule and extend the green light time at the time of many vehicles. But sometimes traffic light still is not automatically converted at the time of many people. This leads to many unnecessary accidents. Therefore, the freedom degree of traffic light must be improved. It can automatically detect the speed and people flow during certain period. For the above problem, we adopt the following solution: to regard the traffic flow as the vertex, to form the edge with a compatible principle, thereby to build up the compatibility graph of traffic flow. This is the key to deal with the problem for the setting of traffic light. The concept of interval graph corresponds to relations between the vertices and edges of graph with the interval on the real axis. This concept can not only solve adjustment program for traffic light but also have a wide range of applications in genetics and archeology and ecology. Finally an example analysis based on the model is given, and it shows that the model is effective and practical.
