Abstract :
In this paper we discuss the optimal design of logical topology with QoS constraints in IP over WDM network. We first propose the procedures of optimizing the logical topology that guarantees the end-to-end QoS requirements, and then formulate it as a nonlinear programming problem. Some numerical results indicate the optimal design of logical topology with QoS constraints can utilize the network resources efficiently.
