Abstract
We present a general method for over-the-air test of antenna setups and/or post-processing algorithms used in advanced transmission schemes. The method utilizes a reverberation chamber to simulate various levels of multipath in the propagation environment. Multipath is essential for correctly estimating the performance of multiple-antenna systems. Our test set-up enables measurement of data throughput with standard laboratory instruments. With this test set-up, antenna setups can be studied while isolated from any specific system hardware implementation.
