This paper investigates the channel through which financial deepening affects the capital flow between urban and rural areas. With the data from Guangdong province in China, we study the relationship between the financial deepening and the capital flow. The results show that financial deepening affets the capital outflow from rural area to urban area in the long-run equilibrium. Financial deepending affects the capital flow in terms of financial scale, financial structure, and financial efficiency. Meanwhile, the capital flow also affects financial deepending. Finally, some suggestions are proposed based on the empirical results.
