Abstract :
In the recent years, the scarcity of lands and environmental regulations, aiming to protect nature and wildlife, led to the restriction of laying pipelines, power-lines and telephone-lines in the same corridor which is called the right of way. The results presented in this paper clearly illustrate the induced voltage due to the electric and magnetic fields on the pipeline, in the vicinity of a parallel power line. This effect results in a corrosion process to which we proposed some solutions.
